Just go to the Playstore and type IRCTC Rail Connect. Install the IRCTC official app. After successful installation, open the IRCTC Rail Connect.

Log in through My Account 

After opening the IRCTC Rail Connect app:

  1. Go to My Account.
  2. In My Account, type your username and password.
  3. Enter the captcha code and click on the login option.

Choosing Link your Aadhar 

After login, you have to again click on the My Account option. Now IRCTC App shows several options on the app screen. For example, My Profile, My Masterlist, Link your Aadhar, Change Password, Logout. To link an Aadhar card, click on the option of Link your Aadhar.

Confirming Aadhar/ Virtual ID (VID) Number

A new page will open in front of your screen. Here type your official name. This name should be similar to your Aadhar card name. Enter your Aadhar Number.

If you have any issues with the Aadhar number, you can continue the VID (Virtual ID) Process. After filling Aadhar/ VID Number, confirm it one more time.

Now click on the checkbox to confirm that you agree with the terms and conditions of this website. 

Verifying One Time Password (OTP)

Click on the option of “Send OTP,” which can be seen on the upper right side. The site will send you an OTP, which will be received by your mobile number. Enter the OTP on the blank spaces given below.

Now update your OTP by clicking on the update option. Now you can see a new screen on IRCTC App. All your Aadhar details show on your display. Click on Update KYC. Now you will get a pop-up message saying your Aadhar KYC is successfully updated. Scroll down and click on Ok.
