While updating Pan Card you need to pay a minimum charge of ₹107 for Indian Citizens. In case of a foreign address, you need to pay ₹1017.

How to do online Pan Card Correction?

Step 2 :- This is the official site where you can apply for Pan Card Correction. Here you have to fill some details like Application type and category. Remember that you have to choose “Changes or Correction in existing Pan Card/ Reprint of Pan Card (No Changes in existing Pan Card)” in the Application Type. After that choose “Individual” in the Category selection. Next fill up the necessary details like title, last name, first name, middle name, date of birth, email ID, mobile number, captcha code. Click on submit.

Step 3 :- Save your token number and click on “Continue with Pan Application Form”.

Step 4 :- A new page will open. You have to click on the third option “Forward application documents physically” in the How do you want to submit your PAN Application documents?

Now select yes when they ask if you want a physical pan card or not. From here you get your plastic Pan Card which you can use in official documents. 

Now fill your full name and choose your gender from here. 

From now on you have to fill in some details related to your parents. First of all, if your mother is a single parent and you wish to fill her details in the Parent Details section then select yes otherwise no. Now fill your parent details and click next.

Note: Tick the checkbox which you want to correct. For example, if you want to make some corrections in your name then click on the checkbox of Full name. 

Step 5 :- A new page will open in front of you. Choose your Address for communication and fill full detailed residence address. Fill Email id and mobile number.

Click on next.

Step 6 :- In the next page upload documents for proof of identity, proof of address, proof of date of birth, proof of PAN. Fill declaration letter. Click on the submit button.

Step 7 :- Check all the personal details filled here. If everything is correct then click on proceed but if anything is missing or incorrect you can edit from here.

Step 8 :- You can make your payment from here by demand draft, online payment through Paytm, online payment through bill desk. We prefer “online payment through Bill desk“. Now agree on terms and conditions and click on proceed to payment.

Step 9 :- click on pay confirm.

Step 10 :- A new tab will open. Here choose the medium of payment. There are many payment options like Credit Card, Debit Card, Internet Banking, Wallet/ Cash Cards, Bharat QR, UPI.

Step 11 :- After successfully making your payment you will be redirected to a new page. Click on “Generate and Print“.

Step 12 :- Download your Application PDF by clicking on Download PDF Option. 

Note: Application PDF will be password protected. As password mention your date of birth to open PDF Application file. Also, print the PDF Application.
